I’m not much for eating fruit in the raw, but blast it in a blender and turn into a smoothie like this one here, I’ll have any fruit by the handfuls.
This one will help you refuel any time of the day, but especially after a workout! This Summer Berry Smoothie is a combination of blueberries, blackberries, Greek yogurt, coconut water and a scoop of MyoFusion Strawberry Protein Powder. Of course the smoothie works just as well without the extra shot of protein, but for those of you who like to supplement your post-workout with protein, this smoothie is the way to do it. It taste great and you get the benefits of raw fruit, healthy digestives from the yogurt and protein add-ins to feed your muscles.
There are about 101-ways to go with smoothies, so expect to see a few more as I share some of my favorite combinations.
- 1 cup of fresh or frozen blueberries
- ½ cup fresh or frozen blackberries
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 banana
- 1 cup coconut water
- 1 scoop (3-4 tablespoons) MyoFusion Strawberry Powder or a scoop of your preferred protein powder
- Place all ingredients in a blender and process until well combined and smooth.
