So here’s my new favorite morning breakfast go-to, the Paleo Chocolate Smoothie.
Lately my mornings seem to have gotten a little more hectic and I found I was working against the clock to get a decent, healthy breakfast with enough protein to benefit my morning workout. I found my answer after some experementation, (not all successful or even remotely palatable to be honest). That’s how the paleo chocolate smoothie came about. This drink has the pick me up I need and it fuels me through my workout. and beyond. it’s loaded with great protein, like almond butter, which makes it so ultra creamy and avocado that gives it that added kick….. and yes it tastes great too!!
Prep time-10 mins.
-half an avocado
-2 frozen bananas
-1/4 cup almond butter
-2 cups almond milk
-2 tablespoons sweetened cocoa powder
-Take 2 unpeeled frozen bananas from the freezer and let them thaw for 10 minutes before peeling, (this will make peeling a lot easier)
-Place all ingredients into a blender and blend well
-Serving Size-1 large glass
