I workout a lot and I’m always in need of some post-workout fuel. This simple smoothie is one that I put together with a little help from my brother, who makes them all the time for his boys.
This Dragon Fruit Smoothie smoothie is a result of leftover fruit that I had from these popsicles and a few other things.
What I’ve learned, smoothies can take on just about any flavor and profile. Use what you have and then just taste along the way to get it to the flavor and sweetness you prefer.
Once I had the smoothie making down, next up was photography. Matt gave gave me a quick lesson that resulted in what you see here. I’m pretty happy with all this being that it’s my second post. And I hae to say, I realize I’m spoiled to have access to a garage full of props and backgrounds!
- 1 dragon fruit, skinned
- 1 orange, skinned
- 7-8 raspberries
- 4-5 strawberries
- ½ cup lime juice
- Place all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth. Leave plain or top with berries and granola.
Stay tuned, because next up, I’ll be sharing some workout routines to get your appetite ready for more fuel-food.
